STEP 5: FEED • REPAIR • RESTORE
THE FEEDER — THE POWER OF RESTORATION
Size: 2.02 fl oz (60 ml)
For all hair types and textures | Male and female
Important
Apply Morning Dew first. Apply Damaged Hair Fertilizer second.
Morning Dew supplies the moisture. Damaged Hair Fertilizer supplies the concentrated nourishment and repair support.
Short Product Description
A concentrated botanical treatment created to nourish dry, weakened, thinning-looking, damaged, and breakage-prone areas. Used after Morning Dew Repair Mist, the Fertilizer helps seal in moisture, support fragile strands, and improve the appearance of stronger, healthier, fuller-looking hair.
Full Product Description
This is not a styling cream. It is the feeder at the heart of the ROBUST ROOTS™ recovery method.
Hair that has been weakened by excessive heat, chemical processing, tight hairstyles, dryness, poor maintenance, or repeated manipulation needs more than temporary softness. It requires consistent moisture and concentrated treatment support.
Chatto® ROBUST ROOTS™ Damaged Hair Fertilizer is formulated to target areas experiencing visible thinning, breakage, weakness, brittleness, and moisture loss. Its concentrated consistency allows it to remain precisely where treatment is needed instead of being spread unnecessarily throughout the entire hairstyle.
For the best support, the Fertilizer works hand in hand with Chatto® ROBUST ROOTS™ Morning Dew Repair Mist. Morning Dew provides lightweight hydration and prepares dry areas. Damaged Hair Fertilizer follows, helping seal in that moisture while nourishing and conditioning vulnerable hair and scalp areas.
With consistent use, this pairing may help reduce dryness and breakage while supporting the appearance of stronger, fuller, healthier-looking hair.
The Dew and the Fertilizer
“Without the dew, the fruit will not grow.”
The two products perform different but connected jobs:
- Morning Dew Repair Mist hydrates and prepares.
- Damaged Hair Fertilizer feeds, conditions, and supports restoration.
- Morning Dew always comes first.
- Damaged Hair Fertilizer follows on the areas needing treatment.
Do not confuse the two. The Dew is the source of lightweight moisture; the Fertilizer is the concentrated feeder.

Complete Daily Directions
- Begin with dry or slightly damp hair.
- Divide the hair into sections to expose the areas requiring treatment.
- Lightly apply Chatto® ROBUST ROOTS™ Morning Dew Repair Mist to the hair and scalp.
- Do not saturate the hair. It should feel lightly moisturized—not dripping wet.
- Gently press or massage the Morning Dew into the targeted areas.
- Allow it to absorb for a few moments.
- Scoop out a small amount of Damaged Hair Fertilizer using clean, dry fingertips or a clean applicator.
- Apply directly to damaged, weak, thinning-looking, brittle, or breakage-prone areas.
- Massage gently using the pads of the fingertips. Do not scratch the scalp with the fingernails.
- Leave the treatment in the hair.
- Do not rinse.
- Apply twice daily to severely damaged areas—morning and evening—or according to the hair’s needs.
Morning Application
- Lightly apply Morning Dew.
- Apply a small amount of Fertilizer to the affected areas.
- Massage gently until evenly distributed.
- Leave in and style as usual.
Evening Application
- Inspect the targeted areas before adding more product.
- If the area feels dry, apply a light amount of Morning Dew.
- Follow with a small amount of Fertilizer.
- Massage gently.
- Protect the hair overnight with a satin or silk scarf or bonnet.
For Curly, Coily and Textured Hair
Use Morning Dew to lightly moisturize the hair and scalp. Follow with the Fertilizer on damaged areas, weak ends, thinning-looking sections, and places affected by breakage.
For severe damage, use morning and evening. Apply only enough to coat the targeted area without creating heavy buildup.
For Straight and Fine Hair
Use very small amounts.
Instead of spraying Morning Dew heavily over the entire head, mist it once into the palms or onto the fingertips. Lightly press it into the specific area requiring treatment.
Follow with a tiny amount of Fertilizer. Avoid applying heavily throughout fine hair, as excessive product may weigh it down.
For Braids, Locs and Protective Styles
Apply Morning Dew lightly along the parts and exposed scalp areas. Follow with the Fertilizer on areas affected by tension, particularly around the hairline, temples, nape, or fragile sections.
Do not pack large amounts underneath braids, locs, wigs, weaves, or extensions. Product buildup may prevent the scalp and hair from being properly cleansed.
For Damaged Edges
- Apply a small amount of Morning Dew to the fingertips.
- Gently press it onto the affected edge area.
- Follow with a very small amount of Fertilizer.
- Massage gently without pulling or brushing aggressively.
- Avoid tight hairstyles while the area is recovering.
Recommended Frequency
- Severe visible damage: Apply morning and evening.
- Moderate damage: Apply once daily.
- Maintenance: Apply several times weekly to areas that remain vulnerable.
- Fine or straight hair: Use sparingly and adjust according to the hair’s response.
Important Usage Notes
- A concentrated treatment does not require a large amount.
- Apply it directly to the areas that need support.
- Using too much may create buildup and weigh down the hair.
- Maintain a consistent cleansing schedule.
- Do not continue wearing hairstyles that repeatedly pull or place pressure on weakened areas.
- Results depend on consistent care, reduced tension, proper cleansing, moisture balance, and the condition of the hair and scalp.
