Patch-Test Directions

Before broader use:

Apply a small amount to a limited area on the inner arm.
Leave the area undisturbed and monitor the skin for 24 hours.
Do not continue if persistent burning, swelling, rash or increased irritation develops.

A mild cooling sensation may occur because of the peppermint and eucalyptus. Persistent burning or discomfort is not expected and is a reason to discontinue use.

What This Does

CHATTO® OASSIS™ Scaly Recovery Lotion is a concentrated botanical body moisturizer created for severely dry, thick, rough and scaly-looking skin.

This intensive formula combines oatmeal, shea butter, aloe vera, vitamin A, antioxidants, botanical oils, eucalyptus, peppermint and eight traditional Ghanaian herbs. Together, these ingredients provide concentrated moisture, help soften hardened-looking areas and improve the appearance and comfort of severely dry skin.

The Scaly Recovery Lotion is the stronger of the two CHATTO® OASSIS™ Recovery Lotions. It is designed for persistent, difficult body dryness requiring more intensive moisture support.

Because the formula contains peppermint and eucalyptus, it must not be used on the face.

How To Use It

Cleanse the body with the appropriate CHATTO® OASSIS™ body cleanser.
Rinse thoroughly and gently pat the skin dry.
Leave the skin slightly damp.
Apply a small amount of Scaly Recovery Lotion to the affected body areas.
Massage gently until evenly distributed.
Apply additional lotion to particularly thick, rough or dry areas as needed.
Wash the hands after application and avoid touching the face or eyes.

Use once or twice daily, especially after bathing and before bedtime.

For Severely Dry Areas

Apply a small amount directly to rough, thick or scaly-looking areas such as the elbows, knees, legs, hands or feet.

Massage gently without aggressive rubbing. Allow the lotion to absorb before covering the area with clothing.

Consistent use is more beneficial than applying an excessive amount at one time.

Step 1 — Cleanse

UseCHATTO® OASSIS™ Advanced Skin Cleansing Soap for All Skin Typesto remove surface buildup and prepare the skin for moisture.

Avoid very hot water and aggressive scrubbing.

Step 2 — Intensively Moisturize

Apply CHATTO® OASSIS™ Scaly Recovery Lotion while the skin remains slightly damp.
