A concentrated botanical shampoo created to thoroughly cleanse locs, twists, braids, and protective styles without leaving behind heavy residue. It helps remove accumulated oils, dirt, perspiration, environmental impurities, and product buildup from the scalp and intertwined hair.

Because locs and tightly woven protective styles can trap buildup while placing continued tension on the hair and scalp, this nourishing formula cleanses without unnecessarily stripping away essential moisture. Aloe vera and a carefully selected herbal blend help maintain scalp comfort, strengthen fragile-looking strands, and leave locs feeling clean, refreshed, and easier to maintain.

For mature locs or hair with heavy buildup, allow the shampoo and water to travel completely through each loc. Rinse especially well to prevent loosened impurities from remaining inside the hair.

1. Thoroughly saturate the scalp and locs with warm water.
2. Apply the shampoo directly to the scalp and distribute it through the locs.
3. Gently massage the scalp with the fingertips. Do not scratch with the fingernails.
4. Carefully work the cleanser through the length of the locs without excessive rubbing or twisting.
5. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
6. Repeat when necessary to remove excessive buildup.
7. Follow with the appropriate CHATTO® conditioner and theUni-Locs™ Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist.
