The Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Starter Care Kit is a five-product foundational regimen created for customers who want the essential care needed to keep locs and protective styles clean, conditioned, moisturized and manageable without automatically adding oils, heavy creams or rich scalp dressings.

Not every scalp needs additional oil. Not every head of locs needs heavy product layering. For people with a normal or balanced scalp, normal-to-moderately dry hair, or those simply beginning a loc-care routine, this Starter Kit provides the core steps first.

Helps maintain a clean scalp, replenish moisture after cleansing, soften dry-feeling hair, improve manageability, refresh locs between wash days, support lightweight hydration and reduce unnecessary product layering.

On wash day, cleanse with either the liquid Residue Free Shampoo or Shampoo Bar. Follow with the Coconut-Shea Deep Penetrating Conditioner for approximately 15–20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Apply the 6-Plus Leave-In Conditioner lightly to damp hair and do not rinse.

Between wash days, mist lightly with the Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist whenever additional hydration or refreshing is needed.

WHY START WITH FIVE?

Locs can hold product internally. Using more products than the hair actually needs can lead to unnecessary heaviness or buildup.

The Starter Kit allows the customer to begin with:

CLEAN HAIR → CONDITIONED HAIR → LEAVE-IN NOURISHMENT → LIGHTWEIGHT DAILY MOISTURE

If the scalp or hair later shows a need for deeper treatment, styling support, richer moisture sealing or targeted oil conditioning, the additional Uni-Locs™ products can then be added individually.
