Morning Dew and Damaged Hair Fertilizer work hand in hand. The Morning Dew Repair Mist provides essential moisture, while the Damaged Hair Fertilizer delivers concentrated treatment support to weakened and damaged areas.

Applying Fertilizer to severely dry hair without first restoring moisture may limit softness, flexibility, and manageability. Morning Dew prepares the hair and scalp to receive the Fertilizer more effectively.

Morning Dew is especially beneficial for textured hair, curls, coils, natural hair, locs, braids, twists, and protective styles that require regular moisture between wash days.

How To Use It

Recommended Frequency

Severely dry or textured hair: Use daily or as needed.
Moderately dry hair: Use several times weekly.
Straight or fine hair: Use sparingly and only when additional moisture is needed.
Protective styles: Apply lightly to exposed hair, parts, and areas under tension.

Complete Daily Directions

Shake the bottle gently before use.
Divide the hair into sections to expose dry or damaged areas.
Hold the bottle approximately 6–8 inches away.
Lightly mist the hair and scalp. Concentrate on dry, brittle, weak, or breakage-prone areas.
Do not saturate the hair. The hair should feel lightly damp—not soaking wet.
Gently massage or press the moisture into the hair and scalp.
Allow the mist to absorb briefly.
Follow with Chatto® ROBUST ROOTS™ Damaged Hair Fertilizer, applying it directly to the affected areas.
Style or continue with the remaining ROBUST ROOTS™ maintenance products as needed.

How Morning Dew and Fertilizer Work Together

First: Morning Dew

Morning Dew restores lightweight moisture and helps prepare dry hair and scalp.

Second: Damaged Hair Fertilizer

Apply the Fertilizer after Morning Dew to weakened, thinning-looking, damaged, or breakage-prone areas.

Always apply the Dew first and the Fertilizer second.

For Curly, Coily and Textured Hair

Mist lightly over the hair and scalp every day or whenever the hair begins to feel dry. Work in sections to ensure the moisture reaches vulnerable areas.

Follow with the Damaged Hair Fertilizer on affected areas. If additional softness or definition is needed, finish with the appropriate ROBUST ROOTS™ cream.

For Braids, Locs and Protective Styles

Apply Morning Dew directly along the parts and lightly over the length of the style. Gently press the moisture into the hair.

Follow with a small amount of Damaged Hair Fertilizer on areas affected by tension, weakness, or breakage.

Avoid oversaturating braids or locs.

For Straight and Fine Hair

Do not heavily spray the hair. Mist once or twice into the palms and lightly smooth over dry areas, concentrating primarily on the mid-lengths and ends.

Use only as needed. Excessive application may weigh down fine hair.

Apply a very small amount of Damaged Hair Fertilizer only to the specific areas requiring treatment.
