It removes dirt, excess oils and product buildup from the scalp and hair while preparing the scalp and strands to receive the conditioning and repair treatments that follow.

Unlike a shampoo used simply to wash the hair, this is the first preparation step of the CHATTO® Method —cleansing the foundation so the remaining treatment products can be used effectively.

CHATTO® 6-Plus Deep Intensive Repair Conditioneris a concentrated rinse-out conditioning treatment designed to deeply condition dry, brittle, weakened and damaged hair while helping restore softness, flexibility and manageability.

This second step focuses on the hair shaft. It replenishes conditioning and moisture lost through dryness, environmental exposure, manipulation, heat and chemical processing and helps prepare the hair for the leave-in protection that follows.

For straight, fine and relaxed hair, the conditioner provides important restorative conditioning without eliminating the need for the lighter protective Step 3.

It helps replenish moisture, improve softness and manageability and protect fragile strands from the dryness and manipulation that can contribute to breakage.

Most importantly, this product remains in the hair. It creates the conditioned foundation needed before moving into the next treatments of the CHATTO® Complete Hair Growth & Repair System.

Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly.

Apply shampoo primarily to the scalp and root area. Massage gently with the fingertips, working the cleanser through the scalp and allowing the lather to move through the hair.

Rinse thoroughly.

For heavy buildup, excess oil or extended time between wash days, repeat the shampoo application as needed.

Then proceed immediately to:

After shampooing, apply the conditioner throughout the damp hair, concentrating on dry, damaged areas and the ends.

Distribute evenly and gently work through the hair.

Allow the conditioner sufficient contact time to deeply condition the strands.

Rinse thoroughly.

Do not leave this conditioner in the hair.

Then proceed directly to:

REPAIR LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

After rinsing out the Deep Intensive Repair Conditioner, gently remove excess water from the hair.

Apply the Repair Leave-In Conditioner evenly through damp hair, concentrating on dry, fragile and damaged areas.

Gently distribute through the hair.

LEAVE IN. DO NOT RINSE.

Style or proceed to the appropriate CHATTO® maintenance treatment according to hair texture and condition.

For straight, fine and relaxed hair, use a controlled amount to avoid unnecessarily weighing down the hair.
