The Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Complete Care System is an eight-product botanical regimen created specifically for the unique maintenance needs of locs, dreadlocks, microlocks, Sisterlocks, micro braids and other tightly structured protective styles.

Locs require a different approach from loose hair. Heavy products can accumulate inside the hair, while insufficient moisture can leave locs dry, brittle and difficult to maintain. The Uni-Locs™ system was developed to create a more complete balance: thorough cleansing, conditioning, lightweight hydration, softness, definition, scalp nourishment and moisture protection.

Instead of masking dryness with heavy styling products, the system works progressively—from cleansing the scalp and removing buildup to replenishing moisture, conditioning fragile areas and helping protect the hair from excessive dryness and breakage.

1. Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Residue Free Shampoo — CLEANSE Helps remove accumulated oils, perspiration and product residue while leaving the scalp and locs feeling clean and refreshed.
2. Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Residue-Free Shampoo Bar — CLEANSE A convenient solid cleansing alternative for maintaining a clean scalp and lightweight locs. On most wash days, customers may choose either the liquid shampoo or shampoo bar according to preference. Both do not have to be used during every shampoo.
3. Chatto® Purely OrganicsEarth & Beyond Coconut-Shea Deep Penetrating Conditioner— CONDITION A rich rinse-out conditioner that helps replenish moisture, soften dry-feeling hair and improve manageability. RINSE OUT.
4. Chatto® Nature's Natural 6-Plus Hair Loss Recovery Leave-In Conditioner — NOURISH Provides continued conditioning and moisture support to dry, fragile and stressed hair after washing. LEAVE IN. DO NOT RINSE.
5. Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist — HYDRATE & REFRESH A lightweight daily moisture mist that helps refresh dry locs and maintain softness without heavily coating the hair. LEAVE IN. DO NOT RINSE.
6. Chatto® Twist & Grow Crème — TWIST • DEFINE • NOURISH A crème-gel used sparingly for twisting, retwisting, defining and maintaining locs and protective styles while providing conditioning softness. LEAVE IN. DO NOT RINSE.
7. Chatto® Intensive Pre-Treatment & Daily Repair Oil — PRE-TREAT • REPAIR • NOURISH A concentrated botanical oil that can be used before shampooing as an intensive treatment or lightly between wash days to condition dry scalp and fragile hair.
8. Chatto® Omega Gold Shea Scalp Conditioning Hair Dress — SEAL • SOFTEN • CONDITION A rich botanical scalp and hair conditioner designed to soften dry-feeling hair and help seal in moisture as the finishing conditioning step. LEAVE IN. DO NOT RINSE.

That distinction is important because moisture and oil are not the same thing. The Aloe Moisture Mist supplies water-based hydration, while the oils, crème and Omega Gold help condition and protect that moisture.

WASH-DAY ROUTINE

Begin with either Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Residue Free Shampoo or the Residue-Free Shampoo Bar.

For significant buildup, a second cleansing may be performed if needed.

Follow with Chatto® Purely Organics Earth & Beyond Coconut-Shea Deep Penetrating Conditioner. Allow approximately 15–20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Towel-blot or gently squeeze excess water from the hair.

Apply Chatto® Nature's Natural 6-Plus Hair Loss Recovery Leave-In Conditioner lightly through damp hair.

DO NOT RINSE.

Continue with the Aloe Moisture Mist, Twist & Grow Crème and finishing products according to the needs of the scalp and hair.

DAILY / BETWEEN-WASH MAINTENANCE

The complete eight-product collection does not mean every product should be heavily applied every day.

For everyday maintenance, the main focus should be lightweight moisture and targeted conditioning.

Use Chatto® Uni-Locs™ Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist to refresh moisture.

Use Chatto® Twist & Grow Crème when definition, retwisting or additional softness is needed.

Use Chatto® Intensive Pre-Treatment & Daily Repair Oil sparingly on dry scalp or fragile areas.

Use Chatto® Omega Gold Shea Scalp Conditioning Hair Dress when additional sealing, softness and richer conditioning are needed.

The system helps maintain a cleaner-feeling scalp, replenish moisture after cleansing, soften dry and brittle-feeling hair, improve manageability, maintain lightweight hydration, support neater twists and retwists, condition fragile areas, reduce breakage associated with excessive dryness, seal in moisture and support healthier-looking locs and protective styles.

ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR MICROLOCKS & SISTERLOCKS

Use creams, oils and Omega Gold very sparingly.

Smaller locs can become coated more easily than larger mature locs. Begin with a minimal amount of product and increase only when necessary.

The goal is:

MOISTURIZED — NOT SATURATED.

Locs can retain shampoo, conditioner, oils and styling products internally.

Rinse shampoos and rinse-out conditioner extremely thoroughly.

Use leave-in products lightly.

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Do not apply products to broken or irritated skin.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Keep products closed when not in use and store away from excessive heat.
