What This Does

CHATTO® Purely Organics™ Intensive Pre-Treatment & Daily Repair Oil is a concentrated botanical treatment developed to condition dry scalps and restore softness to fragile, brittle, and thinning-looking hair.

Locs, dreadlocks, twists, braids, and other protective styles can make the scalp more difficult to reach. When styles are worn under tension or maintained for extended periods, the scalp and hair may become increasingly dry and uncomfortable. This lightweight oil delivers targeted conditioning to exposed parts, fragile areas, dry ends, and sections of the scalp that require additional care.

The versatile formula works in two important ways:

As an intensive pre-shampoo treatment, it softens and conditions the scalp and hair before cleansing.
As a targeted daily repair oil, it helps control dryness, condition fragile areas, and seal in moisture without heavily coating the hair.

Formulated with Shea Oil, Argan Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Turmeric Root Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Bergamot Peel Oil, and Vitamin E, it helps improve softness, manageability, and healthy-looking shine.

How To Use It

As a Pre-Shampoo Scalp and Hair Treatment

Apply a small amount directly to the scalp, exposed parts, dry areas, and fragile sections of the hair.

Massage gently with the fingertips to distribute the oil. Cover the hair with a plastic or conditioning cap and allow the treatment to remain on the hair for approximately 15–30 minutes.

Proceed with the appropriate CHATTO® shampoo and conditioning routine.

Use at least twice weekly or whenever the scalp and hair require intensive conditioning.

For Daily Scalp and Hair Care

Apply a few drops to dry areas of the scalp, exposed parts, fragile strands, or ends.

Massage gently into the scalp and smooth the remaining oil over the hair. Apply lightly to avoid oversaturating locs, dreadlocks, braids, and protective styles.

Use daily or as needed to help control dryness and maintain softness.

Daily Moisture-Control System

For improved daily moisture control, use withCHATTO® Uni-Locs™ Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist:

Mist the hair and scalp lightly with the Aloe Conditioning Hair Moisture Mist to provide refreshing, water-based hydration.
Allow the mist to absorb briefly.
Apply a small amount of the Intensive Pre-Treatment & Daily Repair Oil to the scalp, exposed parts, dry areas, and ends.
Massage gently and distribute without oversaturating the hair.

The Aloe Conditioning Mist supplies hydration. The oil conditions and helps seal that moisture into the hair and scalp.

Important Styling Note

This oil supports moisture retention and scalp conditioning, but it cannot correct an excessively tight hairstyle. If a style causes persistent pulling, soreness, or scalp discomfort, the tension should be reduced to help protect the hair and scalp.
