Most weaves are created by the sewing method. Sewing is the safest method of weaving, whereby the hair is cornrow or French braided to accommodate the weft for attachment.

I strongly disagree with any professional stylist using glue to attach a weft of hair to the scalp. Be prepared for possible damage in the future if using the glue method. Some clients complain of their dislike of the weft because the hair does not move, this is not true.

A weave can flow and bounce beautifully without a trace if it is correctly positioned and designed. Whether single attachments or wefts are used, the success depends on who is designing the weave or extension. Execution also plays a major part in the overall finished look. Be aware that you have a choice of having a full head weave, for the hair to grow evenly, or partially placed in between the hair. When the hair is partially woven with two or three tracks the client must ensure her own hair left in between is well taken care of, otherwise the braided hair will grow longer and healthier than the natural left in between. Anyone who experiences improper or irregular chemical services or styling.
